We’re proud to announce the very first AED installation in our Minutes Matter campaign is now live in Churchlands Estate! 💙 

💡 And it's not just any AED…

This is the first solar-powered AED cabinet in the area! ☀️ It's designed to work reliably in all weather, day or night because every minute counts in a cardiac emergency.

🗺️ Registered & Ready: The AED is officially listed on the National AED Network (managed by the National Ambulance Service) ✅ And it's now live on Google Maps so it’s easy to find when it matters most.

We’re delighted to share that our second Public Access Defibrillator is now live and available 24/7 at Footprints Montessori, Killincarraig

 This project was made possible thanks to the generosity of the residents of Killincarraig and we are especially grateful to:

Every minute matters in an emergency, and having this PAD accessible to the community could save a life. 🫀

We’re thrilled to launch our 3rd Public Access Defibrillator in the “Minutes Matter” campaign! ❤️‍🔥

This brings the total AEDs managed by Greystones CFR and the Fire Brigade to well into the 20s (exact number TBC), making lifesaving equipment even more accessible across our community.

A massive thank you to the incredible residents of Farrankelly, Eden Wood and the surrounding areas who donated towards this AED. Your support saves lives! 🙌

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be running CPR training open to everyone — so you can learn how to help when it matters most.

🚨 Minutes Matter — and 2026 is off to a strong start 🚨

We’re back in full swing with our Minutes Matter campaign, working to place public access defibrillators (AEDs) in every estate across Greystones, Delgany and surrounding areas.

After launching 5 AEDs in 2025, we’re delighted to share that two more have gone live today in the Seagreen estate, Delgany 🙌

These units are extra special — housed in Ireland’s first of this kind of solar-powered AED cabinet, supplied and installed by @flashpointsystems.ie . We’re incredibly proud to be the first community in the country to launch them.

Locations for these and all of the community AEDs maintained by our group can be found on Google maps by searching “AED”. They are also registered with the National Ambulance Service control center.

None of this would be possible without the generosity and support of the residents of Seagreen — thank you for stepping up and helping make your community safer ❤️
